The trend shows two characters each with their own thought bubbles, with the person wearing glasses visualizing a wholesome scene while the person with a less excited expression visualizes something more explicit. The original comic inspired several redraws where people inserted fanart of their favourite ships
Origin
On September 12th, 2024, Twitter / X[1] user @Min_tramcam posted a drawing of a cartoon with glasses looking at another person holding a book. Both characters have thought bubbles above their heads; the person with the glasses is shown to be thinking about something wholesome, while the person reading the group is thinking about something explicit. The post received over than 24,000 reposts and 241,000 likes in two weeks (shown below).

As September 2024 progressed, the drawing gained popularity among artists on Twitter / X as a ship dynamic redraw reference For example on September 15th, 2024, Twitter / X[2] user @Natsuky_SanD uploaded fan art of Seth Lowell and Jane Doe from Zenless Zone Zero. The post received more than 11,000 likes in two weeks (shown below).
