Think Twice? I Don't Even Think Once is a catchphrase popularized in image macros throughout 2021. The phrase was first posted to Twitter in January 2021 and became increasingly popularized on sites including Instagram and Facebook over the following months.
Origin
On January 21st, 2021, Twitter[1] user @aotakeo posted, "I better think twice? buddy I dont even think once," garnering over 14,300 likes in two years (shown below). The post was screenshotted and gained viral spread across social media, including a post to the Premium Confessions Facebook[2] page on June 30th that gained over 5,700 shares in the same rough span of time.
On August 10th, Instagram[3] user onlypossums posted an image macro of a possum using the caption, garnering over 13,200 likes in two years (shown below).

The catchphrase spread over the following months in similar image macros. On September 8th, 2021, Instagram[4] user windows95wordart posted a version of the meme with raccoons, garnering over 18,800 likes in two years (shown below, left). On March 8th, 2022, Facebook[5] page Sonny Side Up posted a version of the meme that gained over 16,000 shares and 13,000 reactions in a year (shown below, right).
On May 20th, Instagram[6] user aiu404l posted a version of the meme featuring Cirno from Touhou Project, garnering over 45,000 likes in 10 months (shown below).
On July 24th, Instagram[7] user softcatmemes posted a version of the meme using a photo of a cat, garnering over 43,000 likes in eight months (shown below, left). It was reposted to the sussycatsclub Instagram[8] page on July 29th, garnering over 55,600 likes in the same span of time. On December 26th, Instagram[9] user monkey.posting posted a version of the meme with monkeys, garnering over 13,900 likes in three months (shown below, right).
On January 28th, 2023, Facebook[10] page Bojack horseman is literally me posted a Bojack Horseman meme using the phrase, garnering over 7,300 shares and 11,000 reactions in two months (shown below).
