Bluey: The Videogame is a family-friendly, multi-player video game centered around the cartoon character Bluey releasing November 17th, 2023. After the game's announcement in September of 2023, many expressed excitement online, while others felt it was inappropriate for adults to be excited about the game.

History

On September 19th, 2023, Outright Studios released a trailer for Bluey: The Videogame, releasing November 17th, 2023 (shown below). The game will be a four-player co-op game centering around Bluey and her family.

Online Presence

The trailer inspired some sincere excitement online. On September 19th, 2023, user @TheJakeNeutron^[1] tweeted their excitement for the game and gained over 3,700 retweets and 41,000 likes (shown below, left). On the 21st, user @PokoRakun^[2] tweeted excitement as well, gaining over 180 likes in less than a day (shown below, right).

However, there were some online who mocked adults who were excited about the Bluey game. User @clas_twt^[3] joked it was a "Big day for kindergartners," gaining 20 likes in two days (shown below, left). User @trashqueen_01^[4] called it "Black Panther for neurodivergent women over the age of 30," gaining over 50 likes in two days (shown below, right).
