The Pornhub Community Intro is the short drum beat played at the beginning of Pornhub's Community videos. The intro has been remixed by TikTok users and YouTubers. It is also used in pranking Twitch streamers.

Origin

On May 25th, 2007 The Pornhub Community Intro was released according to Genius ^[3]. On September 6th, 2016, the Pornhub Community Intro was first uploaded on its own to YouTube by Titty and gained 1.5 million views in three years (shown below).

On December 21st, 2018, Twitter user @EthanCrystal1 suggested that, "if you play the pornhub community jingle in public, everyone will think you’re watching porn, but no one will say anything because it will reveal that they know what the jingle’s from" (shown below).

That same month, Twitch^[2] streamers began getting trolled by viewers with pop-up videos of the Pornhub Community Intro. For Example PaymoneyWubby got pranks during a stream (shown below, left). The clip gained 46,300 views in three months. UberHaxorNova got pranked while playing Slay the Spire (shown below, right). The clip gained 206,900 views in three months.

Remixes

On March 1st, 2019, Meme World uploaded a short video to YouTuber entitled, "I’m just doing my homework meme" (shown below, left). The video gained 25,000 views in two weeks. On March 14th, Grilled memes uploaded a Spongebob Squarepants edit that includes the intro (shown below, right).

In early 2019, Tik Tok users began including the the sound clip in allusive ways to their uploads. Various scores^[1] were uploaded to different sheet music sites which were then played in various TikTok videos (shown below).

School Talent Show

On January 30th, 2020, Instagram user @bitchylaughs uploaded a video of a highschooler playing the community intro during a school assembly (shown below, left). The video gained over 9,900 views and 1,400 likes in three days. That day Instagramer @BobMenery uploaded a video from another angle in which he tagged the drummer @francispacia^[4] who had been expelled for the performance. The post garnered over 990,700 views and 158,800 likes in three days.

On February 1st, 2020, Twitter user @Mikeyrockss_ tweeted BobMenery's video with the caption, "YEOOOOOOO they expelled this kid for playing this during his talent show 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 im boutta pass out" (show below). the video received over 197,400 likes and 55,000 retweets in two days. Drummer @francispacia's Instagram account filled with comments refering to him as a hero.
