About
Libbed Out and Libbing Out are catchphrases and slang expressions used by liberal voters ("libs") to joke about a prior feeling of positivity about a progressive, liberal political agenda. In memes, Libbing Out is said to have a blinding effect that, when viewed in hindsight, was negative because it limited the person's scope of the real world's politics. Usage of Libbed Out surfaced en masse after the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election when Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris lost to Republican nominee former President Donald Trump.
