About
I Would Berry My Dick refers to an infamous Facebook interaction in which a boy named Tom Venables, who appears to be young judging by their profile picture, comments on a young girl's video, "I would berry [sic] my dick so far inside your ass that whoever pulled it out would be crowned king arthur." A collage of the interaction was popularized on several platforms and used as an exploitable meme format, as well as the catchphrase itself being used in jokes since it first went viral online.
Origin
While it's unknown when the interaction took place, a collage of an interaction between a Facebook user named Tom Venables, who appears to be a young boy, commenting on a video by a young girl named Sarah Nichole, was posted on Reddit's /r/funny[1] by Redditor BisonKid on February 19th, 2013, gaining over 980 points before being archived. The collage highlights Venables' lewd comment and significant typo, as he writes "I would berry my dick so far inside your ass that whoever pulled it out would be crowned king arthur."
Spread
The image and the comment quickly spread online as people parodied it in myriad ways. For example, it appeared in a collage of /fit/ pickup lines posted to /r/4chan[2] on May 28th, 2013, in a post that gained over 2,000 points before being archived (shown below, left).
The line itself continued seeing prevalent use over the following several years as a copypasta. For example, on April 6th, 2021, Twitter user @FarmerSneed69[3] posted it referring to a Genshin Impact character, gaining over 90 retweets and 600 likes in three years (shown below, right).
The image itself has also been used as an exploitable template. For example, on June 1st, 2023, a variation was posted to /r/okbuddyretard[4] by Redditor Ya_Boy_Envy, gaining over 500 points before the post was archived (shown below, left).
On March 8th, 2024, Twitter user @Shitpostbot5000[5] posted an example with Squidward as Hatsune Miku, gaining five retweets and 30 likes in six weeks (shown below, right).
