On February 16th, 2024, YouTuber and music critic Anthony Fantano posted a text message to his Instagram Story in which a nameless contact sends him the message, "your dick makes my brain feel like tv static" (shown below). It is unconfirmed if the sext is from Michelleyroo, although it has been speculated. The post went viral and was posted to the subreddit /r/ihavesex^[1] on February 17th, garnering over 4,000 upvotes in two days (shown below).

That day, X^[2] user and OnlyFans model @michelleyroo made a post writing, "whenever men have to publicly and loudly brag about anything sexual, I immediately realize how much they’re lying; like okay sweetie, let’s get you back to bed!" It is unconfirmed if this is connected to Fantano's post. Prior to this throughout the month, she made several other posts to X^[3][4] about a nameless ex who is presumed by some to be Fantano.

Later that day, she posted seven photos (shown below, censored) of herself with Fantano to X,^[5] including one cropped text message from Fantano reading, "OK, then prove it. Stop seeking." The post gained over 1,800 likes in two days. In the post, she writes:

Online Reactions

The release of the photos inspired memes and reactions online. Anthony Fantano largely embraced the photographs and began liking and responding to content on X relating to them. On February 17th, 2024, the night of the post, Fantano made a post to X^[6] simply reading "sup," garnering over 2,700 likes in two days (shown below).
