About
Brr Skibidi Dop Dop Dop Dop Yes Yes Yes Yes refers to sounds made in the song "Dom Dom Yes Yes" by Biser King, which were popularized by Turkish TikToker YasinCengiz (@yasincengiz38) in 2022 due to his belly bounce dance that he did along to the song and alongside multiple Turkish meals and foods at restaurants in the country's city of Antalya. After he started going viral for his dance in mid-2022, he became an exploitable character in weird CapCut video templates and misheard song lyric speech bubbles. Many overweight TikTokers recreated his dance or stuffed their shirts to look like him.
Origin
On April 17th, 2022, Bulgarian music group Biser King released the single for their song "Dom Dom Yes Yes" to Spotify. [1] A few months later, on June 1st, 2022, Biser King uploaded the official music video for the song to YouTube, [2] gaining roughly 1.7 million views over the course of five months (shown below).
Prior to the official release of their song in April 2022, on January 26th, 2022, Biser King uploaded a video to TikTok[3] of them performing the song live, gaining roughly 15.3 million plays and 424,100 likes in ten months (shown below, left). At first, Biser King's sound was used for a TikTok trend of women pulling their shirts over their heads, bouncing their breasts and putting glasses on their covered faces. For instance, on August 23rd, 2022, TikToker[4] valeriakeeler_oficial posted a video of this nature, gaining roughly 20.6 million plays and 1.3 million likes in three months (shown below, right).

Despite the aforementioned trend, Biser King's sound predominantly became associated with Turkish TikToker[5] YasinCengiz (@yasincengiz38) and his belly bounce that he did to the beat of the song. On April 8th, 2022, he first used the song for his dance in a TikTok[6] video that received roughly 28.3 million plays and 923,800 likes in seven months (shown below, left). However, TikToker YasinCengiz38 was performing the dance before the song, as early as his first TikTok[7] posted on March 5th, 2021, gaining roughly 9.8 million plays and 239,000 likes in a year and a half (shown below, right).

Spread
TikToker YasinCengiz's videos only went more viral as he continued using Biser King's song for his belly bounce dance. For instance, on April 16th, 2022, he posted a TikTok[8] that received roughly 84.4 million plays and 3.2 million likes in seven months (shown below, left). On May 31st, 2022, YasinCengiz posted a collab TikTok[9] with verified Turkish TikToker[10] and professional chef cznburak, gaining roughly 53.5 million plays and 1.9 million likes in six months (shown below, right).

Due to YasinCengiz's growing virality, other creators on the app started recreating YasinCengiz's belly bounce either with their own bellies or by stuffing their shirts. For instance, on June 10th, 2022, Emirati TikToker[11] mahmoudmahe.r posted a video in which he stuffed his shirt with a pillow and did the dance, gaining roughly 9.4 million plays and 284,500 likes in five months (shown below, left). On August 19th, 2022, Russian TikToker[12] zheka_fatbellyy recreated the dance with multiple women, gaining roughly 9.5 million plays and 433,700 likes in three months (shown below, right).

On September 11th, 2022, TikToker[14] quandaledingle_0 posted a moldy, misheard song lyric speech bubble video with YasinCengiz doing his belly dance, gaining roughly 1.4 million plays and 135,900 likes in two months (shown below, left).
