Did You Know One In Three People Are Gay? or Did You Know One In Three People Are Ugly? is a series of image macro memes in which one character asks another if they know that one in three people are gay or ugly, both proclaim that they're not gay or ugly, then look forward, as if staring at the person reading the meme to suggest they are the gay or ugly one. The earliest known version of the "gay" meme was posted online in 2014, with the ugly variant becoming popularized in 2018.
Origin
On May 15th, 2014, now-deleted Tumblr user TastefullyOffensive posted a dad joke dog meme in which the dog asks the baby if he knows that one in three people are gay. Both proclaim they're not gay, then stare forward, suggesting the reader of the meme is the gay one (shown below).
