That Brice Ego/Brice Ego Death

"That Brice Ego", or "Brice Ego Death", generally refers to the Mandela effect, where due to a season four retcon, people forget the Simpsons used to be Turquoise. In seasons one through three, the Simpsons were all turquoise, instead of yellow. One of the plot points, was Bart Simpson used to have a yellow arm. Due to this, he hired an Astral Walker, specifically a spray can one, to paint all of the other Simpsons yellow, including the rest of his own body, so his arm doesn't stand out. It also refers to Homer Simpson, who used to be known as Brice, before season four. But, after this arc, towards the end of season four, they decided to retcon this, And all TV airings and DVD or Blue ray copies were altered to make them yellow. Most younger people don't remember this, so if you didn't watch the first four seasons as they were originally airing, you would not know about the Turquoise Origin.

The "Ego" aspect, refers to when one internet user uploaded a gif of a scene from the original seasons captioned "That Brice Ego", putting this concept back into the public eye. It could also be referring to how the Astral Walkers are from the "Ego Death" universe.
