About
School Bond Dogs, also known simply as Bond Dogs, refers to a disparate group of Twitter / X users known for supporting the North Atlantic Fella Organisation or NAFO movement and for being associated with former X user @WASBAPPIN. The group seemingly coalesces around the user @AuhsdBond, who has been posting centrist, anti-Russia and anti-Assad takes on X since 2015. In 2024, School Bond Dogs gained renewed attention after American video game developer Brianna Wu posted about joining the group, gathering criticism from those who believe the "Bond Dogs" to be associated with groypers.
History
User @AuhsdBond created his X / Twitter account in 2015, with his first tweet[1] posted on November 3rd, 2015, reading, "AUHSD: action item 11.3 should be rejected: a violation of public trust and recent court decisions" (seen below, left). The user's earliest notable post[2] is a version of the Pepe Silvia meme edited into a Fox News graphic (seen below).
By 2020, the School Bonds Dog account had gathered notoriety in left-wing Twitter circles for his erratic posting style, with a March 8th, 2020, post[3] showing him equating Will Menakar from Chapo Trap House with politician Bernie Sanders (seen below, left). A December 7th post shows @AuhsdBond[4] using the Apu Takes A Bullet meme to criticize Russia and "leftists" (seen below, right).
A February 26th, 2021, post by X[5] user @chiweethedog joked about the School Bonds Dog playing the "nazi card" (seen below, left), while an April 12th post by X[6] user @ZeroSuitCamus described the account's growing circle as, "A cool new type of guy I’m seeing more and more is a guy with an avi that’s an animal with laser eyes and 'SCHOOL BONDS' in their display name who has schizophrenia" (seen below, right).
The School Bond Dogs account is also known to express contentious opinions on Palestinian and Arab people in general, posting multiple tweets on March 26th, 2024, in which they called Palestinians "abusive rapists."[10][11]
Brianna Wu Joins Bond Dogs
On March 26th, 2024, former game developer Brianna Wu posted[7] a meme criticizing Twitter users expressing support for Palestine by saying they express antisocial behavior. The post gathered over 4,000 likes and a reply from a School Bond Dogs[8] orbiter who insisted that she "join" their group (seen below, left).
On March 27th, Brianna Wu[9] then posted a tweet that read, "Very proud to have joined the Bond Dogs," gathering 200 likes in a day (seen below, right).
Shortly after, other X[12] users criticized Wu for her association with the School Bond Dogs, including X user @CantEverDie in a post that gathered over 6,000 in a day (seen below).
