Later the same day, on November 13th, 2023, the X account @donetodeath^[2] uploaded the photo and proclaimed in the caption that "Cowboy Bezos" was killing them, pointing out how humorously out of character it seemed for the ex-Amazon CEO and earning over 285,000 views in seven hours (shown below).

Other reactions to the image brought the cowboy hat and truck into the equation, with the X accounts @Bob_Janke^[3] and @Dhtoomey^[4] uploading zoomed-out versions of the original picture on November 13th with different captions.
