Alex Jones Running refers to a video of the American talk show host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones chasing a Seattle pedestrian after he shows him the middle finger. Online, the scene gained significant popularity in video edits in June 2019.

On August 18th, 2017, American talk show host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones uploaded video titled "Alex Jones Attacked With Boiling Coffee On The Streets Of Seattle".^[1] In one portion of the video, Alex Jones is shown chasing a man in Seattle after he shows him the middle finger (reupload shown below).

On September 6th, 2017, YouTube user Sineapple posted a Run edit of the video (shown below, left).^[2] On September 11th, 2017, YouTube channel placeboing posted a humorous edit of the video in which the footage was combined with various quotes said by Alex Jones (shown below, right).^[3] The video accumulated over 2 million views in two years.

On April 30th, 2019, Twitter user @ttomholland used the placeboing's edit in a joke referencing the 2019 Marvel superhero film Avengers: Endgame. ^[4] The post gained over 38,700 retweets and 152,000 likes in two months.

On May 26th, 2019, user Hearing Aids posted a Minecraft Death edit based on the video to YouTube^[5] and Instagram,^[6] where it gained over 846,200 and 97,000 views respectively. Hearing Aids also posted a green screen version of the video in his YouTube channel.^[7]

In the following days, the video gained a significant presence in humorous edits, particularly on Instagram.
